A Ballet-Inspired Cover Shoot

One of my favorite aspects of being a wedding planner is that I have the opportunity to collaborate with other industry creatives to conceptualize a design from start to finish.  Whether it is for a wedding, inspirational shoot, or editorial, nothing makes me happier in business than having the creative liberty to design beautiful spaces.  This cover shoot was designed to create a whimsical, painterly feeling – lightness anchored with a touch of dark.  (more…)

Wedding Planning Advice

As a bride, you are flooded with tons of opinions, ideas, options, and decisions to be made over the course of planning your wedding.  My number one piece of advice to every bride is to trust your heart throughout the process.  If you connect with a vendor, and love their work – use them!  We strongly encourage our brides and grooms to look for the connection with each vendor.   While referral lists are great, they are not always required (unless you are talking about catering).   No one can tell you “sorry, that photographer or DJ is not on our list”.   So what should you do when you come across a “required” vendor?   We’ve got you covered!  (more…)
